Jen Lin-Liu
I'm the author of two books, Serve the People: A Stir-Fried Journey Through China (Harcourt, 2008) and On the Noodle Road: From Beijing to Rome with Love and Pasta (Riverhead, 2013). I am also the founder of an award-winning cooking school and private eating club in Beijing, China called Black Sesame Kitchen and have worked on various food and restaurant consulting projects. My husband's job takes us around the world. We currently live in Havana, Cuba, where I am feeding my family of four. Rum is plenty but finding everything else is an adventure!
